Can we get a Scientist to talk to the students at school?

Hi Cathy
How are you! Was thinking about you with the bad weather yesterday!

As part of my Scientists in Schools project I would love one of the scientists (Brad) or any of his helpers to come to talk to the High School Students - especially the Year 10s. I know Brad quite well. Is there a number I can ring to talk to Brad or someone else!

Col (who is doing Gav Milroy's job) is also keen to have someone talk to his Outdoor Ed class. We can organise it for 1 period and have them all together!

scientists at school

Hi Susie. As I'm sure you know the weather prevented all the boats going out Monday so we spent the day doing lab work learning how to work the photo lab program. 1/2 of the team went out on the boat today including me.
George (Ecocean scientist) says Col has already spoken to him about this and he is happy to come and talk for about 20mins then do a Q & A and hand out brochures etc. He is going to talk to Brad and work out a suitable day next week. they will let you know probably tomorrow or Thursday.

Ecocean visit

Hi Susie.
George can come to school on Wednesday. He has had a chat to Col (bumped into him at happy hour)and Col will discuss what they worked out with you. No need for a middleman so I will leave it with you guys.
Having a very busy time ... rewarding too.
